²⁴ Før havdypene eksisterte, ble jeg født, før det var kilder som flommet over med vann;

²⁵ før fjellene ble skapt, før høydene, ble jeg født;

før han skapte jorden eller dens marker eller noe av verdens støv.

²⁷ Jeg var der da han satte himlene på plass, da han tegnet en sirkel på dypets overflate,

²⁸ da han gjorde himlene faste ovenfor og festet sikkert dypets kilder,
