13 Han forlot Nasaret og bosatte seg i Kapernaum, som ligger ved sjøen, i området Sebulon og Naftali—
14 for å oppfylle det som var talt gjennom profeten Jesaja:
«Sebulons land og Naftalis land, området langs sjøen, bortenfor Jordan, hedningenes Galilea—
16 folket som bor i mørket har sett et stort lys; over dem som bor i dødsskyggens land, har et lys gått opp.»
17 Fra den tid begynte Jesus å forkynne: «Omvend dere, for himmelriket er nær.»
