5. Mosebok 30,5

Guds trofasthet

3 da vil Herren din Gud gjenopprette din formue og ha medfølelse med deg, og samle deg igjen fra alle folkene hvor Han har spredt deg.

4 Selv om du har blitt forvist til jordens ender, vil Herren din Gud samle deg derfra og bringe deg tilbake.

Han vil føre deg til landet som dine forfedre eide, og du skal ta det i eie. Han vil gjøre deg mer velstående og tallrik enn dine forfedre.

6 Dessuten vil Herren din Gud omskjære ditt hjerte og hjertene til dine etterkommere, så du kan elske Ham av hele ditt hjerte og av hele din sjel, og leve.

7 Herren din Gud vil påføre alle disse forbannelsene på dine fiender som hater og forfølger deg.
