19 Men Herren var ikke villig til å ødelegge Juda, for sin tjener Davids skyld, siden Han hadde lovet ham å gi ham en lampe for hans sønner alltid.
20 I hans dager gjorde Edom opprør fra under Judas hånd, og utnevnte en konge over seg selv.
Da dro Joram over til Se'ir med alle sine vogner, og det skjedde at han sto opp om natten og slo edomittene som hadde omringet ham, og vognkapteinene; men folket flyktet til sine telt.
22 Så gjorde Edom opprør mot Juda til denne dag. Da gjorde også Libna opprør på samme tid.
23 Nå, når det gjelder resten av Jorams gjerninger og alt han gjorde, er de ikke skrevet i Krønikerboken til Judas konger?
