14 Og Gud sa: "La det være lys på himmelens hvelving for å skille dagen fra natten, og la dem tjene som tegn for å markere hellige tider, dager og år,
og la dem være lys på himmelens hvelving for å gi lys på jorden." Og det ble slik.
16 Gud formet to store lys—det større lyset til å styre dagen og det mindre lyset til å styre natten. Han laget også stjernene.
