26 Da bygde David et alter for Herren der,
og ofret brennoffer og fredsoffer.
Han kalte på Herren, og Han svarte ham med ild fra himmelen på brennofferalteret.
27 Da befalte Herren engelen,
og han la sitt sverd tilbake i sliren.
Da David innså at Herren hadde svart ham ved treskeplassen til Ornan jebusitten,
ofret han der.
