7 Han laget Tronsalen hvor han skulle dømme, Domssalen, og den var panelt med seder fra gulv til tak.
8 Hans hus hvor han skulle bo, i den andre gårdsplassen innenfor hallen, var av samme utførelse. Han laget også et hus som denne hallen for faraos datter, som Salomo hadde tatt til kone.
Alle disse var laget av kostbare steiner, skåret til størrelse, saget med sager innvendig og utvendig, fra grunnmuren til gesimsen, og fra utsiden til den store gårdsplassen.
10 Grunnmuren var av kostbare steiner, store steiner, steiner på ti og åtte alen.
11 Og ovenfor var kostbare steiner, stein skåret til størrelse, og seder.
