21 Men vi hadde håpet at Han var den som skulle forløse Israel. Og foruten alt dette, er det i dag den tredje dagen siden disse tingene skjedde.
22 Dessuten forundret noen kvinner blant oss oss. De gikk til graven tidlig i morges
og fant ikke Hans kropp. De kom og sa at de hadde sett et syn av engler, som sa at Han var i live.
24 Da gikk noen av dem som var med oss til graven og fant det akkurat som kvinnene hadde beskrevet, men de så ikke Ham."
25 Han sa til dem: "Hvor uforstandige dere er, og hvor trege til å tro alt det profetene har talt!
