48 Disse byene og deres landsbyer var arven til Dans stamme etter deres familier.

49 Da landet var blitt delt inn i sine deler, ga israelittene Josva, sønn av Nun, en arv blant dem,

som Herren hadde befalt. De ga ham byen han ba om—Timnat-Serah i fjellandet Efraim. Han bygde opp byen og bosatte seg der.

51 Dette er territoriene som Eleasar, presten, Josva, sønn av Nun, og lederne for de stammevisene klanene i Israel tildelte ved lodd i Sjilo i Herrens nærvær ved inngangen til møteteltet. Slik fullførte de delingen av landet.
