Johannes 7,45

43 Slik var folket delt i sine meninger om Jesus.

44 Noen ønsket å gripe ham, men ingen la hånd på ham.

Til slutt gikk offiserene tilbake til yppersteprestene og fariseerne, som spurte dem: «Hvorfor tok dere ham ikke med?»

46 Offiserene svarte: «Aldri har noen talt slik som denne mannen gjør.»

47 «Sier dere at han også har forført dere?» svarte fariseerne.
