Jeremia 35,3
1 Dette er ordet som kom til Jeremias fra Herren i de dager da Jojakim, sønn av Josjia, var konge i Juda:
2 "Gå til rekabittenes hus og tal til dem, og før dem inn i Herrens hus, inn i et av siderommene, og byd dem vin å drikke."
Så tok jeg Ja’asanja, sønn av Jeremias, sønn av Habassinja, og hans brødre og alle hans sønner, hele rekabittenes hus,
4 og førte dem inn i Herrens hus, inn i rommet til sønnene av Hanan, sønn av Igdalia, Guds mann, som var ved siden av rommet til høvdingene, over rommet til Ma’aseja, sønn av Sjallum, dørvokteren.
5 Så satte jeg skåler fulle av vin og beger foran mennene av rekabittenes hus og sa til dem: "Drikk vin."
