12 og jeg ga dette skjøtet til Baruk, sønn av Neria, sønn av Mahseja, i nærvær av min fetter Hanamel og vitnene som hadde signert skjøtet, samt alle jødene som satt i vaktgården.
13 I deres nærvær instruerte jeg Baruk og sa,
‘Dette er hva hærskarenes Herre, Israels Gud, sier: Ta disse dokumentene, både de forseglede og åpne kopiene av kjøpsdokumentet, og legg dem i en leirkrukke så de vil vare lenge.
15 For dette er hva hærskarenes Herre, Israels Gud, sier: Hus, åkre og vingårder skal igjen bli anskaffet i dette landet.’
16 Da jeg hadde overlevert kjøpsdokumentet til Baruk, sønn av Neria, ba jeg til Herren og sa,
