6 Herren talte da til Moses og sa,
7 "Døtrene til Selofhad taler rett. Du skal virkelig gi dem en arv blant deres fars brødre og overføre deres fars arv til dem.
Tal til israelittene og si: ‘Hvis en mann dør og ikke har noen sønn, skal dere overføre hans arv til hans datter.
9 Men hvis det ikke er noen datter, tildel hans arv til hans brødre.
10 Hvis han ikke har noen brødre, tildel hans arv til hans fars brødre.
