31 Fordi de har forkastet Herrens ord og brutt Hans bud, må de sannelig skilles; deres skyld forblir på dem.'"
32 Mens israelittene var i ørkenen, møtte de en mann som samlet ved på sabbatsdagen.
De som fant ham samle ved, brakte ham til Moses, Aron og hele forsamlingen,
34 og de holdt ham i forvaring, fordi det ikke var bestemt hva som skulle gjøres med ham.
35 Da sa Herren til Moses: "Mannen må dø; hele forsamlingen skal steine ham utenfor leiren."
