1 Herren talte til Moses og sa:
"Tal til Aron og hans sønner og til alle israelittene, og si til dem: 'Dette er det Herren har befalt:
3 Enhver av Israels hus som ofrer en okse, et lam eller en geit i leiren eller utenfor den,
4 og ikke bringer det til inngangen til møteteltet for å ofre det til Herren foran tabernaklet, skal være skyldig i å ha utøst blod. Den personen har utøst blod og må utestenges fra sitt folk.
