29 I Pekahs, Israels konges, dager, kom Tiglat-Pileser, Assyrias konge, og erobret Ijon, Abel-Bet-Maaka, Janoa, Kedesj, Hasor, Gilead og Galilea, hele Naftalis land; og han førte deres innbyggere i eksil til Assyria.
30 Og Hosea, sønn av Ela, sammensverget seg mot Pekah, sønn av Remalja, og slo ham og drepte ham, og tok tronen i hans sted, i det tjuende året til Jotam, sønn av Ussia.
