10 Nå påkalte Jabez Israels Gud og sa,
"Å, at Du ville velsigne meg rikelig, og utvide mitt område,
og at Din hånd måtte være med meg,
og at Du ville bevare meg fra skade så det ikke ville smerte meg!"
Og Gud ga ham det han ba om.
11 Kelub, bror til Sjuha, var far til Mehir,
som var far til Esjtons slekt.
Bet-Rafa var sønn av Esjton, det samme var Paseah og Tehinna, far til Ir-Nahasj.
