12 Til disse inndelingene av portvaktene, de ledende mennene, ble det tildelt oppgaver lik deres slektninger,
for å tjene i Herrens hus.
13 De kastet lodd, både små og store, etter sine fedres husstander, for hver port.
Loddet til øst falt på Sjelemja.
Så for hans sønn Sakarja, en rådgiver med innsikt, kastet de lodd,
og hans lodd kom ut til nord.
15 For Obed-Edom var det til sør,
og for hans sønner, forrådshuset.
16 For Suppim og Hosa var det til vest,
ved porten til Sjalekhet på den oppadgående veien.
